Mark Grudzielanek signs with Indians

The Cleveland Indians have signed Mark Grudzielanek to a minor league deal according to a post by Anthony Castrovince.

The 39 year old Grudzielanek went .299/.345/.399 for the Kansas City Royals in ’08, but the season was shortened due to an ankle injury in August.

After the ’08 season, the Royals in a surprise move offered Grudzielanek arbitration, but he declined. He was signed by the Twins in Julyto a minor league deal, but his stay in the oragization was short-lived.
