Target Field has come one step closer to Opening Day as the outfield sod has arrived on the refrigerated trucks and laid down onto the field. With the Kentucky bluegrass in place, the stadium is finally starting to look and feel like a ballpark.
Even though outdoor baseball in Minnesota is still about seven months away, but this sight should give fans a good glimpse of what to expect come next April.
2010 cannot come fast enough.
